Is VPX 16 OK, stability and bugs-wise?

VPX 16 was very stable for me, as is 17, with which I had an issue caused by a buggy Windows update, was fine again after removal of the update and a repair, and the NVidia issue.

What was the Windows update and what was the problem?

The update was a Windows 11 25H2 feature update, I cannot remember the KB number, IIRC it became available early Dec 2025.

Various problems with odd mouse behaviour, lagging and some crashing of VPX 17, and other programs, eg PaintShop Pro.
