Hi

The Stereo 3D function/options are under the Effects tab. and switching the Preview monitor to stereo options are accessed through the 'hamburger' menu top left of the preview pane.

I would also suggest you read the Stereo 3D section of the manual available under Help as there are very few users here still editing Stereo 3D video.

If you run into issues do post back, we may be able to help.

Is the video from the camera a single file, with both left/right images side by side half width?

Thank you. I found it right after posting this. The Sony HDR TD10 films a single file which must be processed into anaglyph or sbs with Vegas Movie Studio. I have V M S from versions 11 up. The big problem is keeping the sound in synch. My first conversion with M S 18 leaves a lot to be desired. I read the manual. It wasn't much help. Stumbled on the hamburger menu by chance. I love 3D.

Hi

. . . . . Sony HDR TD10 films a single file  . . . . problem is keeping the sound in synch . . . .

A MediaInfo, analysis of one of the Sony videos may give us a clue as to why the audio is out of sync, post the results in a comment, see this short tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a clip.
