First problem - you have Windows 7 and you need at least W8, best 10 for MMM2022.
I'm pretty sure that there was a Creative Suite available for MMM2019 Plus or Premium, but I doubt that it is still available.
The current version is MMM2022, and the Creative Suite would have features specific to that version, in which case you would first have to install the free version of MMM2022, try it, activate any old serial numbers, download and install everything, purchase Premium 2022 and download and install everything again.
Of course, you still need to upgrade your operating system.
@browj2 The screenshot is from version 2020. I don't have 2019 installed.

I purchased 2019 and Magix became completely unusable. Had to revert back to 2018. I'm assuming the registry got corrupted. Discouraged from buying another upgrade. Lost some sounds when going back to 2018, but at least it can record without locking up and skipping making loud crackle and pop disturbing sounds. Still some crackle and pop occasionally.
You are still using a version of Windows which is no longer supported by Microsoft. If you wish to use any recent version of MM you really do have to upgrade your OS to at least Windows 8 and preferably Windows 10. Especially since Windows 11 is "just around the corner"!
The crackle and pop you mention almost certainly means you need to increase the Audio Buffer settings. Those noises are an indication that your current settings mean that your audio buffers are becoming overloaded and cannot handle the data throughput that you are needing.

What is the keyboard letter or short cut to start recording in MMM 2022? Is this feature no longer available. That's how my 2018 worked. It was awesome. Has this changed?

The mixer and other little features are not very good. Not happy with the new edition of 2022. I will never buy another version.
. . . . Not happy with the new edition of 2022. I will never buy another version.. . . .
As @browj2 and @emmrecs have clearly pointed out, the problem is with your Windows version not Music Maker 2022.
Did you check the system specification requirements here before installing MMM 2022?

I bought a new computer with Windows 10. Purchased MMM2022 as an "upgrade". Previously had 2018 and "upgraded" to 2019 and MMM became unusable. So, I reverted back to 2018 and upgraded to 2022 last week. "Clearly" the issue is not with a new computer. In addition, my VST VITA has only drums now. Previously it had strings, horns, guitar, and ensemble completely proprietary. Occasional errors in 2022 also come up that MMM is no longer usable after it crashes and closes out. My best guess is I should have not purchased an upgrade, but a full version and started from scratch. Functions in 2018 that no longer work in 2022 are as follows:
1. Audio Record button has to be switched off to hear a recorded track (Unlike 2018 where you could still hear track regardless of "Audio Record" status on or off or even Midi Record.
2. When utilizing the "Undo Function" example: when rerecording on a track CTRL +Z (Undo) I lose my VST on other tracks and have to reopen VST to get it to work. Example: Perfect Drums ends up sounding like a Piano VST MMM proprietary sound.
3. When Pressing CTRL +S while playing tracks the workflow completely stops (in 2018 MMM the tracks would keep playing non stop until SPACEBAR or stop button is pressed.
4. In 2018 Pressing R or r to record worked just fine. Majority of the time R or r does not work to record on a track.
In general a lot of mouse clicking and back and forth to play back and record tracks becomes very tedious.
Perhaps a patch or update could be published by Magix Music Makers software developers may improve the latest version MMM 2022 to bring back 2018 excellent workflow.
Note: Small features like these make using the new version a bit of an underdog. I guess VST is the give and functionality of workflow is the take away.
I have been in the computer industry since the early 90's and I am familiar with software functions and workflow. In addition, have recorded over 200 songs over the years and maybe about 50 of them were compiled in Magix Music Maker 2018 for the last 3 years. SO, with that being said all the facts have been stated from years of hands on applications and observations. What to do where to go with 2022 version.
