Mods may find that i have repeated this, i beleive i entered the original in the wrong subject.and there seems to be more responces here.

Hi All,

I have just upgraded from Win XP to Win 7, loaded my purchased from Amazon Movie Edit Pro 2013 plus. Each time i go to use it,  Its asking for my activation code ( normal as we know), i have tried the two PS + numbers on the back of the disc sleeve supplied, but cannot get it to work.

It all went fine with win xp.

any ideas please.

If Windows is the case then you can try running in compatibility mode .

right click on the software icon or install icon > compatibility mode and try running it on windows version you were using . Windows XP has many different versions *

Hi

Check that you have the correct serial number by going on to the Magix website and click the My Account link top right of the home page.

Login using the email address and password you used to register the software - this must also be the same one when you use to try to register the software.

Once logged in select My Products from the left pane - there you will see your registrations and serial numbers.

Also check that your Firewall or Antivirus Suite is allowing MEP to access the Internet.

As John E.B. says, check that you have entered your serial number correctly. You indicated that yours starts with "PS."  Mine all start with "P2." Maybe this is where you have a problem.

Ok all. Thank you kindly for your help.

P2 yes, my mistake when entering here, so used to Photoshop being PS.

Anyway i think i might well have been entering wrongly, originaly i entered the code off line, as soon as i entered it on line all began to work, well, thus far anyway.

So at the mo fingers crossed all is ok. again thanks for the efforts.

Hi all;

Have just received an email from magix reminding me of this post, so i am now updating.

I resolved the issue whilst opening the software i was ask to enter the activation code, i did so via off line as i thought i have already got the activation code with disc, this didn't work as previously mentioned, however when using the option activate online, i went into my account and activated from there. All is now working as it should.

Regards...
