Activation nightmares on this site

I've got Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0 my old lap to died so I've installed it on my new lap top and need to activate it within 30 days. My question is this: How can I get another activation code when the site thinks that I've already registered the product? and when I go to register the product it says that it already has my serial number and I can't register. Basically this is bot madness I'm going round and round in a circle getting no where using up my authentic life while the bot consumes energy for it's artificial existence by consuming my life force.

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

With the sale of the Vegas product range to BorisFX your situation is one which may prove difficult to navigate!

However, you should be able to log into the Magix Account page. If you have never previously logged into that page and so do not have a Magix account you should be able to use your login details from your old Sony Account (user name and password) and then go to My products where you should be able to find information about deactivating/deregistering the previous installation. If that is successful, log out of the account page, wait a few minutes and then try again to activate your new installation.
