Activting Music Maker instruments in Samplitude Music Studio?

Hi, I'm trying to transition over from Music Maker to SMS and I might have missed something... I had a few "credits" I'd been saving in the Music Maker store so I bought the last few instruments to use them up and they show up correctly in SMS. However, when I try to use any of those instruments in SMS, it says they need to be activated. They work in Music Maker, but not SMS. Any instruments I bought before installing SMS work fine in SMS, but those last 4 do not. I've tried activating them using the web site but it says the order number isn't valid. Is there something I'm missing to get those last few instruments ported over? Thanks!

Hi,

I think any instruments you bought through Music Maker are locked to Music Maker.

I've tried doing the same with SMS but no joy, if you work it out please let us know.

yeah , seems the only way around it is to get Independence 70 gig Library synthesizers from producer planet dot com . They are all VST32 bit and VST 64 bit , so they work equally well in Music Maker and Samplitude , and in any VST program . Independence and producer planet , it's All Magix's stuff .

Yes, unfortunately this is so, I have already annoyed me. I have the professional version Samplitude Pro x3 suite. It contains about 24 Vita instruments and also the Independence with 70 GB.

The instruments appear in MM, but are not unlocked. Even the instruments acquired in MM-Shop do not run in Samplitude, although they are also listed here. The same is also done with effect plugins!

This is absolutely not customer friendly!!!

I hope that Magix changes that very quickly, because why should I buy everything twice?

Sorry for my bad English

many Greetings

Unfortunately, I need to confirm that that's the current status quo, resulting from the fact that both product lines now use two completely different DRM systems. While Samplitude (Music Studio) uses MAGIX traditional DRM "Protein", Music Maker now exclusively relies on the in-app store system to manage the feature, instrument and content items you own. Thus, Samplitude Music Studio simply has no knowledge of what items you own through the in-app store system in Music Maker. We hope to be able to offer some kind of gateway to the in-app store from SMS, if not a full implementation of that system, at one point in the future.

Hi all,

I know it's been a long time but have there been any updates? I am having the same annoying problems with all the VST included in Music Maker 2020 premium and Samplitude X4 Suite.

Maybe it's something that could be corrected / released with Samplitude X5?

Thx! :)

Yes for Samplitude Music Studio only (not Samplitude itself).
