Hi,

No subtitle function is avalable in Movie Edit Pro version probably no priority in Europe for this. Only the Magix Video Pro X version has subtitle. Working for customers making a lot of video for Facebook, subtitle is a must and the new law in USA push toward this.

Sorry. I didn't understand well.

Does Video Pro X support subtitle (e.g. with 1000 lines)? We need plug-in for import subtitle? or is built-in?

Hi,

The MEP cannot support SRT import, no subtitle function in this program but the Magix Pro X version support subtitle that is the professional version to compete Adobe Premiere. 1000 lines represent about or less than 3000 seconds of movie or 50 minutes that is normal. By the way a lot of programs support subtitle srt and sami files.

Thanks yvon-robert.

How I can import SRT file in Video Pro X? When I drag file to program it say "the file format can not be read".

I love MEP and ProX and I prefer to do my job with these programs.

Thanks

Hi,

i use only the MEP version since the beginning. For subtitle i use Camtasia Studio to sync text and movie. Also Cyberlink video director and Corel video studio give excellent result with subtitle. Sorry i not use the Magix Pro X version due to high price for this software.

check in the help menu at the top of your screen how you can use or import subtitle as usual in many oftware is a special track open specific for subtitle.

Hi,

If you are referring to closed-captioning, no, you cannot do this in either MEP or Video Pro X (VPX). You can do it in Magix Vegas Pro.

Subtitling in MEP and VPX are titles and they cannot be imported or exported.
