Adding inros and outros

A shame the designers seem to put barriers up to stop direct contact unless you are buying something. I have a BIG but probably simple problem with Movie Maker Pro. I've pulled in a section of video - and want to add an INTRO and OUTRO. I've picked a pair from BASIC intros and outros. The intro is added in just fine (though I'd prefer to miss the flashing cursor events wehen you do that). But when I come to add the OUTRO - I select the END of the video - select the OUTRO from the menu - and as soon as I try to place the OUTRO, the INTRO disappears.

There HAS to be a simple way to fix this??? It is holding up a SIMPLE editing job.

If this is being applied to a single video clip, try cutting the clip in half with the scissor symbol and try adding the outro again to the now second clip.. All editing in MEP is not destructive. Nothing will happen to your original file.

I don't think there is anything simple about learning how new programs work. I haven't had to do this myself but have never used a single clip for a video, hence my guess at a cure for you.

Thanks ray, a simple and quick solution. The video will be up on Youtube shortly thanks to you.

Could I push my luck and ask one more silly question - something again that has never happened to me before. ALL up and running - but when I'm checking the video in Magix... If I start checking half way through the video - I can see where I am supposed to see but for reasons beyond me the sound is always starting at the beginning of the video even though I just started viewing from half way in ??
