If I select large icons or list view in the project folder and try to slide the clip input or output point selectors in the source window the sliders won’t work until I change to details view. Is this normal.

Confirmed here. Another bug. The same thing happens in List view. Running the mouse around the screen, I was able to get this:
before VPX froze solid and I had to kill it with the Task Manager.
I suggest that you raise a ticket with Magix. I'll do the same.

On mine if I change the project folder back to the details view I can carry on using the program as normal without having to shut down.
The problem is when in the List or Large icons views.

Talk about coincidence I was actually watching an excellent video tutorial just prior to posting my problem in the forum. I didn’t know at the time … it was one of your video tutorials.!

I have found a workaround for my problem:
1. Select Large Icons in project folder then select [ ] in icon
2. Change project folder view back to Details view
3. Now I can use the in/out slider in the Project window
Using List View or Large Icons view crashes the Project window until l change back to Details view
