After editing a movie (removing ads) with Movie Edit Pro 2013 Plus the following error message comes up when trying to burn to DVD:

"Chapter 1 of the movie is shorter than 1 sec. For current navigation the chapter should be longer than 1 sec. Do you still want to create a disc?.".

If you try to proceed the following comes up:

"Burning was aborted with the following error

  Error encoding

 Movie encoding failed."

Anyone had the same problem?

Hi Terry,

Have you carefully checked that you really haven't accidentally inserted a very short chapter?

From the start try repeatedly using Edit > Move View > To next chapter marker (Alt+Pg Down for me).

Use Zoom (Ctrl + Arrow Up) to examine the timeline carefully at suspected locations.

Just to follow up what Terry suggested:

Is the source of your video a PVR (or similar) where you have recorded the movie as it is being broadcast?  Is it possible that your PVR places the equivalent of a Chapter Marker at the very beginning of the recording (perhaps to enable you to "find" it when you want to watch it later) and that that marker has carried over into the file in MEP where it is seen as an unwanted extra?

If so, and assuming you cannot "see" and hence delete it, can you "trick" MEP into using it by removing the marker that MEP would have had you place at the beginning of your timeline?  I honestly have no idea whether this would work but I would think it's certainly worth a try, at least!

Well, that's 8 days, so looks like the OP either lost interest or sorted it and didn't bother to give us any feedback.

I am not sure how this forum works re answering.  I have tried suggestions but had no luck.
