After installing Win10, In Movie Edit Pro 2015 when I connect the Vid Camera it comes up with an error box saying unable to connect to selected device, the Vid Cam model is shown in the drop down box, this all used to work fine.

Hi

What is the camera make / model and how are you onnecting it to the PC?

If using Firewire (IEEE1369) through a Firewire card - have you updated the drivers for the card?

Hi John,

You just made me remeber that when I first installed MEP I had a similar problem and as you say it was the Fire Wire driver, however that was in windows 7 and I seem to remeber I had to go to an "old compatible setting set-up" somwhere in the driver, but cant exactly remeber... looking at Win 10 there doesnt seem to be that same setting ?  I originally found the answer somewhere here on the forum, never had any joy direct from Magix.
