All FX showing but not working

I am working with MS Platinum 17 and have just done a fresh install.

Using Windows 10

Everything was working fine with this but recently when I try to apply an FX from an event the FX panel appears but doesn't respond to any of the sliders. On Youtube it recommends toggling the 'split screen' button but not had any luck with this (it was in default 'bypass FX' mode). Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the forum - albeit the wrong one.

Vegas products, with the exception of Magix Movie Studio 18 and later versions, have their own forum see the Important Posts here.  

There should also be a link to the correct forum under Help in the program.
