Try "File>Settings>Reset program to defaults"

You can reset cropping on individual objects by right clicking the object and deselecting "Border cropping adjustment"

If it happens on all objects then in the top menu "Effects>Movie effects settings>TV cropping tab" make sure all check boxes are empty.

I forgot there was a Movie Effects Settings. Adjusting the TV Cropping to 0% fixed it for me. I'm not sure why this is on by default. Cheers!
