All my fotos and video appear with a purple colour.  All the blue coloer items appear in purple.  Not sure what I did or how this happened.  I installed the latest patch but that didn't seem to work.  When I export the movie to the hard drive it looks fine.  But opening the project to work on it then it doesn't look correct.

I've read some items about the Chroma Key, but no adjustments seem to work.

I'm new to the programme so I wouild appreciate any help I can get  I'm using Windows 8 and the software version is Movie edit Pro 2013 version 12.0.3.4

Hi. Here are two things you can <TRY> that may help:  1) Open your MEP 2013. At the top,go to FILE,and click on it.Then go to SETTINGS and click on that. At the bottom of the menu,click on "Reset Program SettingsTo Default". Close your program and then re-start.      2) Insert your pics/videos on the timeline. If they are discoloured,,try this: go to Effects>Video Effects>Colour Correction. Then click on "Reset Selection" and see if that has any effect.  (Make sure your pis,etc. are highlighted on the Timeline first!).  Try resetting anything in the Effects that has to do with colour adjustment/removal,etc.  Good luck!     Ray.

PS: I just tried the "Colour Correction" suggestion myself,but I don't think that really will help.  Just another suggestion,though...go to EDIT and try "Undo". remember,any edits &/or Effects you do,you must have your Media highlighted/selected on the timeline.  Ray

Hi Ray

A wild guess here - have you by accident switched the Preview monitor to Anaglyph display?

Click the Red/Cyan spectacles top left of the preview monitor  - it should be set to Standard 2D.

@paul-nicholls

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

You have posted to a thread whose previous latest post was created nearly seven years ago, and concerned a much older version of MEP! Please do not resurrect such old posts.

However, I fully understand why you have done so, in order to comment that the response by @Coastman apparently resolved the problem for you. In such a case I would strongly recommend creating a new thread, including a link to this current thread, so that any other user meeting this problem can find a potentially very useful resolution.

This current thread will now be closed.
