Alternatives to MAGIX's distortion plugin?

Weird question, I know.

MAGIX's plugins have always been a highlight of the software, both instruments and effects. However, I've been working on switching to a more capable DAW recently - no hard feelings, Music Maker! However, as an avid lover of distortion, thus far I haven't been able to find a good alternative for MAGIX's default distortion effect. It's not the end all be all of distortion plugins, but it has an incredible sound that I always love to put on pretty much anything I want to distort, even if I add other plugins after it. There's something about its tone, the way it seems to distort the signal at all dynamic levels, it's just essential. As much as I'd like to simply hop into Music Maker whenever I want to use it, just pop it on, and bounce to audio, I'm sure it's understandable that that's not a particularly good workflow. Does anyone know any VST alternatives to it, and/or insight into the way it works?

@nothingbuterrors

I don't think this is an appropriate forum for asking questions about competitor products to use in a non-Magix software.

Why not post to the support forum of the more capable DAW you are now using?

Since this is not suitable forum for your question I have closed your post.
