. . . . MEP15 will not allow me to export to MP4 @ 1080X720 . . . .

Is 1080x720 a typo? Do you mean 1280x720 ?

If you do need 1080 x 720 there is not a default preset, in any version of MEP, for this, however you can create one as shown below

Note: I kept the 16:9 aspect ratio (AR) for simplicity as 1080x720 is not a standard AR, this image used is in the example was 4:3 AR and on importing is pillar boxed ie there are black bars left and right.

Regarding the MP4/MOV comparison the MP4 is sharper and not quite so dark (the difference is subtle).

Are you adding a little sharpness when you are exporting, if not then select Movie Effects (keyboerd shortcut H), Sharpness tab and adjust the sharpness slider, for 720 p a value of 25 should be a good starting point, however you may need adjust the value up or down so as to get an improvement without making it obvious.

Hi

There appears to be an issue with the forum linking to the video, here is an alternative location you can view it from

"Regarding the MP4/MOV comparison the MP4 is sharper and not quite so dark (the difference is subtle)." Thanks for that John EB - and yes that was prob a typo on the output - and yes I've been sharpening the images. Again (after your advice) with 17 Plus arriving soon - I think things are gonna go smoother ... Thanks John EB 😌
