Is there any way to apply effects "globally" in Movie Edit Pro? (I'm using MEP version 2019 on Windows 7 using an HP Professional Workstation) There are times I want to effect a series of clips, perhaps a series of shots all needing some color or brightness changes. In my previous software, I would just put all of those clips on a certain track and apply my settings to that whole track. It was very easy and effective. Is there a way to do that in MEP? I did one small multitrack project in MEP, and made sure to apply changes before making cuts, so I assume the answer is "no".
The documentation states "It is also important that you make all effect settings for the output material (e.g. video or audio cleaning) before the multicam edit on the objects on the source track and on the master audio track. These effects will be transferred to the objects in the target track with the edit. Otherwise, you will have to apply the effects from every single object to the target track."
I just wonder if I am missing something or if there isn't a workaround for this. This is a pretty common and routine task in other editors, and I would expect it in a mature product such as MEP. But then again, MEP still doesn't have a way I know of to effectively organize media (trim, create sub-clips, name, and sort in a project folder, not Windows folders), but I'll save that question for another post another time.
Thanks!
