Audio clips suddenly not playing

Hello,

I hope you can help. I have been editing a video in 2020 edition of Movie Edit Pro Plus. I inserted an audio file (m4a file) and it was playing fine, was able to clip it to synch to the video. But suddenly NO sound will play at all. I have checked and no files are muted, the mute button is not pressed. But suddenly after doing an edit, none of my sound files will play.

This is the first sign I get on my laptop that a Windows update is pending.

Try restarting the PC - Windows button, Power, Restart.
