Comments johnebaker wrote on 12/21/2019, 1:04 PM @Jasper1 Hi If Movie Edit Pro (MEP) audio is working with USB headphones then this is most unlikely that tit is MEP that is causing the issue. Check the following: audio plays through the laptops speakers a different audio player works through the 3.5mm socket headphones/ear buds that the 3.5mm plug is pushed fully home - I have had this issue with a laptop Note some systems do not recognise the insertion of the 3.5mm audio plug when the USB headphones are still plugged in. if you are plugging in an external amplifier this may not be detected HTH John EB Jasper1 wrote on 12/21/2019, 1:18 PM @johnebaker audio that is not from magix movie edit pro is working with 3.5mm jack and speakers the 3.5mm jack is fully in the laptop only my 3.5mm earbuds are plugged in. not anything else i do not use an external amplifier. browj2 wrote on 12/21/2019, 1:21 PM @Jasper1 Hi, Go into MEP Program Settings (Y), Playback, and change the Output device to your 3.5 output. John CB Jasper1 wrote on 12/21/2019, 1:43 PM I see only 1 output. when i click above in the driver and choose directsound i see 2 but they are both not working CubeAce wrote on 12/21/2019, 2:07 PM @Jasper1 Hi Jasper. What operating system are you on? Try right clicking on the volume control on you task bar and select Open sound settings and see what is selected from there. Jasper1 wrote on 12/21/2019, 2:10 PM Thanks. I needed to open volume mixer and it was muted there. 1
