audio only works if I play the video

I tend to use the editor for songs with lyrics. So I have Track 2 - images/jpeg etc - Track 3 is my song in MP3 - Track 4 is the text for the song. When I am edting the video I move the position line slowly along the time line and I can hear the song this helps me to position the lyrics. However! Now if I pull the time position line along I don't hear the song If I choose to play the video I get the song plus visuals. It didn't do this before. I can't see why it is not acting as it did before - any ideas.

Hi,

You probably have audio scrubbing turned off. Right-click on the speaker button at the upper right of the timeline and select "Scrubbing long."

Yep that's it. I have been following some training videos and learning all the controls. I have started a notebook with quick notes. I missed this Scrubbing long etc.. Many many thanks. Control duly noted.
