So Im editing some clips to fit i a different peace of audio. Yet i am having issues with the adudio one of the videos i'm using. As I put the clip i wanted onto the time line. I turned down the volume in the mixer so its off but it still played. So I ungroped the video/audio and deleted the audio but it still plays. is there anyway i can stop the audio form playing?

Hi,

If the audio still plays, then it must be there on another track.  Try scrolling down the time line to see if you may have inadvertently moved it to a different track.  If the audio track is not in the time line, it can't play.

Not necessarily, George, if this sort of obscure bug that I and others have reported is still present, which I suspect:

@carmella6366: If the problem remains after those checks, then I'd recommend you raise a ticketed request to Technical Support. Include a link to this thread.

@terry,  OK I beleive that there could be a bug, but if this is in MEP 2013, the bug has to be in the fact that when you detach the audio track from the video track, it did not actually detach.  Mute the video track and see if the deleted audio still plays.  I bet it does not.  If it does not, then I bet that the audio is still imbedded in the video track.  That would be the bug.   If it does play, then it is somewhere in the time line.  There is no such things as audio ghosts.  It is either there or it is not.  Send me an example of this (send the MEP project file and the associated audio and video files and I will tell you why this happened.

OK George, you're on. Unzip this and play the MVD. Ghost audio and ghost text!

There's nothing but a single JPG on the timeline (with movement added) and nothing in any of the other 31 tracks below. It's one example of that 2013 bug I described.
