AVCHD Activation

I'm sure I'm missing something really simpe here, but when I try and activate my AVCHD, I'm suddeny told that I'm using the program as a guest and need to repeat the activation procedure with administrator rights!!

Please can someone tell me how I do this?  My wife and I share our home PC, we're not on any work network or anything, so how do I get round this?  We have a Sony Vaio laptop and I'm editing home videos on Movie Edit Pro 2013 Premium edition.  Any info would be warmly appreciated!!

Hi

This sounds like you have seperate logins on the laptop and the software was installed with your wifes login.

If so then you must be logged in with the same account as the software was installed with to activate the codec.
