Hi guys any help would be good. Using Magix movie edit pro pre. Backgrounds just won't work. This goes for green screen, titles, jpeg images the lot all i get is a black background please help...

bacground must be used on track below the video track, try to use a pictue on track 1 and place you green screen video on track 2 arrange picture the same length to video on track 2. Remove the green color using chromakey.

Edit Pro 2013 Premium will not show images of file in time line and will not close down only in Ctrl/Alt/Delete. Any ideas/help appreciated

Everything works for me, in my version. Which version of the program do you have (see under About), and what is your operating system and computer specs, as requested in the instructions for creating a post.
Then add in what it is you are doing and how. A screen shot of the main screen would be most helpful.
