I'm sorry you are experiencing problems in downloading, installing and registering your software, but you cannot use a serial key for Movie Edit Pro purchased from Magix to activate the Windows Store Edition of MEP, because they have entirely different activation systems.

Problems connected with downloading the program from the Magix servers are almost always caused by the user's (your) computer's firewall and/or antivirus blocking the connection. So, first, try turning off both of these, especially if you use Windows Defender, and try the download and installation again.

If that is not successful you might want to consider buying the Windows Store Edition (since you can install this successfully). Doing so, will then allow its activation via your Windows Store account. Then email infoservice@magix.net, explain the problem you are seeing, and ask for a refund of the money you have paid to purchase the program from the Magix website.
