bad update

I hate updates when you wish you did not do it. I wish there would be more features added to Video Pro X... I just let it do the latest update and now my program viewer flashes yellow every few seconds with either a yellow or multiple yellow screen flashes as I preview the timeline. This is annoying! I am working with .mp4 gopro files. I did not let it create [proxy files because that takes time and they USED to play back just fine. There is no hesitancy in playback... but the yellow frame flashes.... ugggg. How do I roll back to the previous version? My system is intel Core i7 with Windows 7 Pro. Seriously... there were no issues before this.

Hi

I think the easiest way to roll back to the earlier patch would be to choose a Restore Point with a date prior to your install of the latest VPX update. Have not noticed the disturbance myself - are your Graphics drivers right up to date?

Am running Windows 7 Pro. All updates are done that it wants to do. The problem has.... disapeared. It just stopped... have no idea why.

I must say the latest update is the most stable so far.
Not having the issue you mention and I have had no crashing since the update.
My windows 10 recently had a Major update which may have helped.
Hopefully Magix are on the right track.
