Bildstabilisierung

peter-senn wrote on 6/15/2020, 4:40 AM

Hi Peter.

The plug in will not help in this situation. It is not designed for very small movements.The same as image stabilization within most cameras will produce a shaking movement when the camera is very still.

You need to change your technique of creating the video. For that you need a solid floor for your tripod and to put the work onto a wall so your camera is working with gravity and not against it. If you are using any form of image stabilization when shooting on a tripod, switch it off.

I'm assuming your camera at present is on some kind of boom pole. This is not good and will never be stable enough for close filming. If you film on a wooden floor the problem will only get worse. The other option would be to use a very stiff cage arrangement with the artwork fixed at one end and the camera firmly fixed at the other. That would be the professional way to do it and is referred to as a rostrum camera mount.

@peter-senn

Hi

I would also add to @CubeAce comment - if you are working with a tripod, attach some extra weight to the bottom of the centre column, it may even have a hook for this, eg a bag containing 2 - 3 kg of stones, sand or something heavy, this will make the tripod assembly more rigid.
