Hi,

I assume you're sure there are no gaps between objects on the main track? Did you zoom in sufficiently to see? (With the little '+' tool bottom right, or press Ctrl+ArrowUp.)

If so, have you also carefully checked all other tracks below to ensure there are no objects obstructing? Or with 'M' selected?

There is nothing. I didn't even edit anything yet. I simply import a clip and at playback, it flashes black.

It would help us help you if you provide more information -

What is the source and format of the imported video?

Does the video play OK on the computer eg with Windows Media Player ofr VLC ?

What is your computer specification, Windows version and is it 32 or 64 bit and what version of Movie Edit Pro are you using?
