This is my first use of your product. I found a clip, it showed the thumb nail correctly, but after I brought it into the program the time was present at the bottom of the window, but the screen remains black when I hit play??

Hi Mike, Sorry you are having problems. Please note that most of the people on this forum do not work for Magix, myself included. I do have a question, and perhaps an idea. First the question. What type of file are you trying to import? Since the application shows the file icon, it probably recognizes the file type, but you may not have the correct codec installed on your system to play the file. Does it play in Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, or QuickTime or any other standalone video player? If not, it could very well be a codec problem. If it does play in some other player, there may be some other issue. Another thought is if you have a YouTube account, upload it to YouTube, and either send me a private message with the link, or post the link as an answer to my comments and let me have a look at the file.
