Butch Vig Vocal Plug-in can't be loaded into plug-in chain

The Butch Vig Vocals Plug-in from Waves appears in my list of VST Effects in Sound Forge Pro14 but can't be loaded into the plug-in chain. Also, the interface to use the plug-in does not pop up. I have installed, uninstalled and re-installed the Vocals Plug-in without changing anything. Any tips would be appreciated.

Using Windows 11.

Will it open singularly but not in the chainer? Are the Waves Audio plug-ins listed in the"Options> Preferences> VST" menu and have you tried refreshing the VST plug-ins, then restarting your PC. Unfortunately Waves plug-ins have always been problematic in Sound Forge.

Yesterday I was on the Waves (maker of the Butch Vig Vocals plug-in) website and I found that only an earlier version of that plug-in would work with Acid. I’ve used the Sony, now Magix, music software, ACID, Vegas and Sound Pro for ages. After I used the earlier version plug-in installer (9.6) the Butch Vig Vocals plug-in loaded as VST3s and is usable in Sound Forge and ACID. Yay.
BUT it still won’t load into Vegas 18. What gives Magix? I really don’t understand.

Thanks rraud for following my adventures.

Questions about the Magix Vegas range of products should be posted to https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/news-forum/
