Can not download upgrade 20.0.1.73

Starting to feel I should get another better edit programme. This one is really just hickups all the time. I get note to upgrade my movie edit pro plus to version 20.0.1.73

Ok, normaly an easy thing. With other softwares. This one not. I am good with computers and have a good machine. Have now tried for THREE DAYS trying to get this installed. No way. It runs a bit. Then stops. And never at the same place. Sometimes after just taking down 500 k. Never got passed 7mb. Despite everything I do. Ridiculous.

Even tried to take the whole thing off the computer and reinstall. Same crap result.

So perhaps time to invest in Adobe or some software that risks of shortening ones life. Because this is so frustrating. Written to their support. Of course no reply.

So I am beginning to see what Magix is really all about.

That would achieve nothing in relation to the issue you are having.

Check your Internet connection/ISP are not having issues or your Antivirus is detecting a false positive on the download. Do note that the downloading is a separate process from the program.

Downloads from Magix are OK here both yesterday and this morning.

Have you tried turning off your antivirus while downloading the content?

It is fairly well know that some types of files give a false positive to antivirus software and it will stop the download.

It is often the reason you are asked to stop all other activity while downloading program files but is still sometimes not successful.

Support from Magix in the past has normally seen replies within a few days but since the recent global problems it has taken a few days more. On average it seems around four to five days.

There was also a post from the staff about this problem in the news section.

I hope this information helps clear your current problem.
