Can not install extra content in Movie Studio 18 Plat

I cannot install the extra content it loads the screen when I load the program and says you should install extra content but I cannot select any of the boxes it just bleeps at me with the windows sound of error. Has anybody else had this problem

If the Installations manager indicates the extra content is installed as shown in the image below, and it keeps popping up every time you start the program asking you to install see this topic.

Although the image and linked to topic refer to Movie Edit Pro (MEP), it is the same for Movie Studio which is based on MEP.
