Can't import music

Hi,

I cannot import mp3 songs anymore; following error code

Magix Music Maker has dicovered invalid ID3 Information in the file....... Errors while reading may occur. Would you like to try to repair ID3 information? Y/N

Than after another fail message:help.

File format could not be read.

Please

If you are using Microsoft, make sure all yur patches aare current.

Hi

try the following:-

Make a backup copy the audio clip just in case anything goes wrong.

Using Windows Explorer right click the audio mp3 file and select properties.

Select the Details tab - here you will see the ID3 information of the clip - my guess would be that there is an invalid / disallowed character in one of the tages.

To change the tags double click the Value box of each tag as shown in the image below - this shows one of the tags selected - you double click it.

Delete the contents of each tag and then OK the dialog.

Try importing the mp3.

Do a search on the net concerning ID3 files...I think yu might find some helpful information.
