Can't install Magix Movie Edit Pro 2014 Premium after download

h3ijastus wrote on 2/13/2014, 2:57 PM

After downloading the installation files, I get a message that a specifc file (Default.avi) cannot be opened in the AppData/Local/ ... /Default destination. When I check for that file, I cannot find it, so I guess for some reason it has not been downloaded by the Magix downloader. This prevents the installation.

What can I do??

System: Windows 7 32bit /// Intel SP9300 Core 2 Duo /// OCZ Vertex2

Hi

Can you give us your full computer specification, include the OCZ Vetex 2 capacity and free space available and Antivirus software installed.

IMHO I think that you will find that your computer is underpowered when trying to run  Windows 7, MEP 2014 and other background programs such as an antivirus program.

If you intend to edit HD video then your computer is well below the minimum specification required.

Just a quick answer:

I have edited full HD videos with my system, so low performance is not the issue.

What comes to the Vertex, i can say that it's fast (with 76 GB free). I could not in my worst nightmares imagine changing back to rpm drives ...
