Hi

. . . . I can convert them individually to MP4. I want to batch convert some 3000 and cannot find a way . . . .

Assuming you are using Movie Edit Pro to do the conversion, use File, Batch conversion and follow through the dialogs.

I would suggest you convert in batches, as 3000 may be too much in one go and will take a long while - I am currently batching 33 short videos (average runtime 4 mins) which going to take about 1 1/2 hours.

Thanks. Whilst the batch dialog shows mp4 as a choice it does not allow refinement to change to 3D side by side full or half size as it does for individual conversion. So that it what make it impossible to batch convert 3dAVI to 3Dmp4 - only to mono mp4. I thought there must be a way to allow it but perhaps not.

Hi

Did you not get an Export dialog open as shown below asking which preset you want to use?

Note there are some of my custom presets in the above image - you will not have these.

Thanks - that dialog works to create one file out of an input of more than one separate avi's.

The batch conversion dialog is this one and it does not give the option list for individual output of 3D side by side full width images

I need an input of individual 3d avi's with an output of individual 3d mp4 side by side full width which you can do in your export method combining they files but not as far as I can see for the batch option

I suspect you are using the wrong process for batch processing individual files.

These are the steps I used to convert and create individual files:

Load the files to be processed.

  1. select the format to export to

  2. select Advanced to open the export setting dialog

  3. select the required output format

  4. select the save location

then close the export dialog and click the Start processing button.
