Hi, I'm new to Magix, I have Magix Music Maker MX, I was wondering if you can import an Audio sample & then convert that sample in to a Midi file so you can then change the sound via one of the Vsti plug-ins.

I think Cubase 5 has something like this ..any info

thanks in advance

I use Magix Music Maker MX edition

I use Wundows 7 ( pc not lap top )

Hi

No this is not possible.  MIDI is not an audio format - a midi file is a sequence of instructions which tells a midi instrument what to do.

There are some rograms available which try to do this, however I have not found them to be very good.
