Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Assuming you are using a version of Movie Studio (which one and which edition, by the way?) to burn a video to DVD it would be very useful if you were able to show a screenshot of any error message you see (or at least its full wording) and, if you see a message to access the Burn Log, post the latest set of entries in that log here.

Speaking personally I only ever use reputable quality DVD-R single-layer discs for burning DVD Videos and have never experienced a problem caused by the actual burning process. I do use DVD+R but only for dual-layer discs. What brand of discs are you using?

Using Memorex DVD+R 16X 4,7 gb 120min, I have used DVD-R before and they worked

I recall DVD-R was more reliable to burn successfully in consumer DVD burners.

Try winding the burn speed right back to 4x.

You could also try "burning" to the image recorder/ISO and then using IMGBurn to burn the ISO.
