Cannot close the program unless using the task manger to kill it !

Since I have install the new Video Pro X (I still have the Video de luxe premium also install on my PC) I cannot close the Video Pro X if I have either open a projet or create a new project even with no picture or video in. the only way is to close it by the task manager to kill the task !!! is somebody have an idea about it? thanks in advance

thanks John for the help! Will follow your thread but since it's still not clear I'll wait a bit untill "better" answer to really fix it. I have a Yoga lenovo laptop with Intel core I7 and intel graphical card which according to my reading is where is the issue. Hope Magix support will fix tis issue soon?

Try some of the methods indicated near the end of the linked thread. I managed to get it working, as did others.

The problem, as I pointed out, you can't update if the program can't close properly, so you have to use one of the methods to get it to work.
