Hi and welcome to the user to user forums.

Wow! registered here for over five years and your first post.

There are not many Mac users here so I don't know how much help you will get, but assuming you are downloading this to a relatively new machine are you running the latest versions of both Bootcamp and Windows?

It helps to for us to have as much information as possible as in the pinned topic here,

Ray.

Yes, but windows 10 - current on updates. Including Bootcamp. I go waaay back with Magic. My guess is 30 years at least. The only programs I run in Bootcamp are from Magix. To repeat, I bought Movie edit pro, and did successfully download it and ran a bunch of slides into a project. I added music which did come in, two levels below the slides as it should. BUT, when I went to move it, as I clicked, it divided that music entry into two. Holding down the click and moving was not working. After much frustration, I uninstalled that program, intending to reinstall. But, it failed in the download - tried many times. ??"? Was downloading NOT the 1.07 gig but 609mb. All was in PC/Bootcamp.

forgot - Movie edit pro 22, I did re download 16 also, no problem.

Hi

. . . . failure to move music. (it divided instead) . . . .

Do you mean it cut the music into 2 or more parts, or it cut and moved a section of the music to a new movie (timeline) so you ended up with 2 movies (timelines) in the one project?

What is the specification of the MAC, there are significant differences in the hardware requirements between MEP 2016 and MEP 2022?

1st yes, cut into two parts. 2nd yes, I re installed MEP 16. Could not re-install MEP 22 because, as mentioned, it tried to down load and as it came to 609MB etc INSTEAD of the 1.07 GB it stopped with a failure notice. Note also, that, when I bought MEP22, the download was complete (do not remember the size) and I started a project with success until I came to adding the music. After many tries, I uninstalled the MEP22, and re installed MEP 16 which I believe works. Then unable to download MEP22.

To do the download, I am in PC mode (or I cannot find it to download)

Mac detail follows:

At Monterey Version 12.2.1, s # C07Z210FJYW0

Processor 36 HZ Core intel core i 5

32 GB Memory 2667 mhz DDR 4

PC detail can also be given, but basically, it is empty.

I am using a wireless keyboard. I did not try to use a wired one on the original MEP error, but I do have one. However, my failure to download is started by merely clicking the box, so I do not see any connection to the download failure.

@ljl400

Hi

Can you expand on the specification as detailed in the topic I linked to, also see my signature for an example of what is required.

. . . . PC detail can also be given . . .

Assuming you mean as seen in Bootcamp - it is using the same hardware as the MAC OS.

Hi

Unfortunately running MEP 2022 is not as simple as getting Windows 11.

. . . . Processor 36 HZ Core intel core i 5 . . . .

It would appear, looking at Apple MAC specs, they were very reluctant to state the specific i5 processor they were using in their computers. There are at least 4 numbers and possibly a suffix missing from the model number, eg my i7 is an i7-8700K.

The processor number with suffix, and any other installed graphics card, are important to determine whether MEP 2022 will run on the computer smoothly for the resolution of the video you are editing.

In Windows 10 settings, System, About you should find the full processor number.
