@John-Aitch

I have no idea what the uninstall problem is, but I am curious as to how MusicMaker clashes with SonicFire Pro 6. I have no problems with them and have never heard of any.

What actually happens? Does SonicFire have a problem or Music Maker? Are you trying to run both at the same time? If MusicMaker is not loaded, I can't understand how it could be affecting SonicFire and vv.

I dont use Music maker very much, when I load up Vegas pro and initialize sonicfire then when I then send the file from sonicfire to vegas I get an error message. Its no big deal, I just want to remove Music Maker from my system. Cheers John

Hi

. . . . load up Vegas pro and initialize sonicfire then when I then send the file from sonicfire to vegas I get an error message. . . . .

A little confusion here - as @browj2 has questioned, this error has nothing to do with Music Maker. It looks like you have 2 different issues.

The uninstall error is due to the missing file being needed, it appears to be connected to licensing conditions.

Have you used a Cleanup program to remove installation logs and files?

Hi

For the Vegas/Sonicfire issue I would suggest you post in the Vegas forum here, AFAICS you have not yet registered there.

@John-Aitch

Did you try the Microsoft uninstall tool? This has worked for me in the past.

Ok John, seems to have cured the problem. Thank you for this. Just tested Vegas Pro16 and Sonicfire Pro6 and all works as should. Many thanks again.
