Canon PF 24 ghosting issues

BenJAMIN40 wrote on 5/23/2019, 2:15 PM

I accidentally recorded in PF24 instead of 24 on my Canon C100. How do I use Vegas Pro 16 to edit this footage with my other 24 footage. I can't get rid of the ghosting effect on the PF24 when I render the file. I have the pulldown removal option checked in the preferences when I imported the footage, and I have disabled re-sample on the clip in the timeline.

@BenJAMIN40

Hi

You have posted in the Magix Video Pro X forum, Vegas has its own forum here - I would suggest you post there.

Hi,

Why was my post deleted? This is a generic issue and my answer could have helped Magix Movie Edit (which I use) and Video Pro X users as well.

@terrerad

I accept that your answer was potentially "applicable" to Magix products but I suspect very few users will have access to AfterEffects. As a non-Magix program I considered your post could be construed as advertising. Hence it was hidden, not deleted.

In addition, the OP was actually asking about how to deal with the problem in Vegas Pro. Hence, also hardly relevant in a forum for MEP/VPX and other strictly Magix video products.

This thread is now closed.
