. . . . You are no help at all.. I read what you wrote. How much more info do you need . . . . this is your job to help the customer.. be professional please . . . .

This is a user to user forum - not Magix support.

You must help us to help you by which is difficult with so little information from you to go on, therefore assumptions have to be made, we can only assume you are referring to to the latest version of Music Maker.

More information is required:

  1. Which version of Music Maker you have including the version number as found under Help, About . . . and is it the Free, Plus or Premium version or one of the sopecial editions?
  2. Did you have the Soundpools already installed and then they disappeared?
  3. Have you just purchased the software, installed and downloaded/installed all the extra content?

Also include any other information which may be useful eg what changed on the computer.

Hi

. . . . yes i am using music maker live 2016.. . . . .

Thanks for the program name, however you are still not providing all the information requested, which is important particularly when using the term

. . . . my sound pool side bar . . . .

which would suggest you have MMM 2017 or later. Please clarify what you have by giving the information requested ie the program name and version number that was asked for - as found under Help, About . . . ..

MMM 2016 Live does not have a Soundpool sidebar, the Soundpools are on the first tab at the bottom of the program interface as shown below

. . . . but the purchase i made last week cannot be found in my sound pools like normal.. my question is .... where are my sound pools ... what was i supposed to do to put them on my musics maker . . . .

Where did you purchase the soundpools from - Catooh or Producer Planet?

yes ,, from catooh,,

browj2 wrote on 8/17/2018, 12:16 PM

When you download from Catooh, the location where the download will go to is at the bottom left of the screen. You can change this to whatever you want. Go back into Catooh, to you purchased products and try downloading. Look to see where it is going, probably something like C.....Magix/Downloads, then look at that location.

Soundpools should end up under:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools

Since you are using an older version of MMM, make sure that you don't buy or download any loops that have the mxcOGG extension. This is a new proprietary format and will only work with a newer MMM.

@paul-smith

Thanks for confirming where you got the Soundpools from.

In addition to John CB's comment, it is your responsibility to keep backup copies of the files you downloaded in case you need to re-install in the future.

Quote terms and conditions #11.2 '

The Customer's attention is specifically directed to the fact that he or she is individually responsible for making backups in reasonable numbers and at reasonable time intervals. MAGIX offers no free replacement for lost files that were bought and downloaded from or uploaded to Catooh.'

There is also limited time window of 14 days from the date of purchase in which you can download the Soundpools. (terms and conditions #4.2)

I just downloaded something from Catooh, going into it directly instead of through VPX. When I go to download, the normal message pops up at the bottom of the screen asking what you want to do with the download. I click on save. By default, this goes to Downloads, but you can, of course, change it. Once finished, click on Open folder and then put the files where they are supposed to go. I'm using Edge; I don't know what happens with other browsers.

I struggle with the same on reinstalling MMM 2021 Premium. No purchased soundpools/loops reappeared. Now lurking who knows where... Better to consult with the confusing support dept. (not much better) where they have access to facts instead of guesswork and speculation.

@Life_Journey Don't forget to log into your user account. Try also to clean up the store in the program settings.

You should also be able to see all your Soundpools in the download tab.

browj2 wrote on 4/2/2021, 11:29 AM

@Life_Journey

This thread is about a much older version. You should have opened a new thread. Also, this has been discussed many times recently.

Soundpools should end up under:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools

In the new version, you have to go to the Loops tab, click on the parameter gear and Add Soundpools, showing Music Maker where they are located. Unless you changed something, the location is that shown above.

Also, if you open Program Settings, Folders, you'll see the above path listed for Soundpools. No big secret here.
