Clarification

I have searched through the net and also on this forum and have read different answers, but I need some clarity as I intend to buy this software. I also have asked the Magix team and waiting for the reply. Just in case some of you can let me know earlier....

The question is, how many computers can I use this software (platinum) on WITHOUT SWITCHING BACK AND FORTH every month? Can I install it on two computers and use one of them at a time WITHOUT GOING THROUGH the activation and deactivation every time?

Thanks.

Hi

With 1 licence/activation you can install on as many computers as you wish, however only one can be activated at a time, you must switch the activation to the computer you want to use.

If you want to install on 2 computers and not switch the activation, you must purchase a second licence/activation.

I got reply from Magix that it can be installed on two computers. Not sure what they meant but I purchased it and installed on two computers and the registration went through on both the computers. For some reason the program keeps crashing on one of the two. I don't think the crashing has anything to do with number of computers but I am open to hearing others' experience.

Hi,

Correct, it is now two computers. If you look in your account, you should see the profile for each of the computers and whether or not it is activated.

Crashing is something else and for that you should post all pertinent information - did you update to the latest patch, OS, computer specs, what you were doing when it crashed, etc.
