Can someone please clarify the difference between exporting in an uncompressed video format or an MPEG4 format? I am running MMEPPlus 2017 - new at this so appreciate your help
The single biggest difference between exporting uncompressed video in comparison with mp4 is one of file size. Your uncompressed video file could be many, many times larger than its equivalent mp4, so large, in fact, that the great majority of computers will very seriously struggle to play it without glitches, stumbles, etc. You will maintain pristine quality but at the cost of potentially being unable to view your masterwork.
However, the choice of export format really depends upon your intended use of the footage. If you are ultimately going to transfer it to DVD, your only output option which your DVD player is guaranteed to handle is mpeg-2. For playback on computer mp4 is ideal. But do remember that these formats are actually "containers" and it is by far the best idea to allow MEP to choose the one that best suits your intended output.
So, if you can tell us a little more of how and where you want your video to be viewed we can doubtless make suggestions about the output format to help you.
Please post your question as a new thread, giving us a lot more detail about your computer and especially about which Magix program you are using.

Thanks for the additional information. This Google help page lists the various file formats that YouTube can handle. From personal experience mp4 is often "the best", remembering that YT will almost certainly reduce the quality of your footage in order to allow it to be streamed to viewers' computers.
