Occasionally, I'm having this issue where the audio (on separate track from video of the same source file) gets a forced gradual fade out over the duration of the clip. It is visible with the white volume line and "MUTE" and "Volume" are displayed above the waveform before and after the filename.
I cannot adjust the clip volume as the handles are missing. Reset Audio Effects doesn't do anything. The problem is the "clip curve" (?) (usually for adjusting the overall volume and fade in/fade out), not the green volume curve, nor the track curve. It only affects that given clip. Deleting it and re-importing from the source is the only way I've found to get rid of it. Nothing is shown active under Effects, either. Please see the screenshot.
I feel like I must have mis-clicked on something, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help? My computer is getting old and I'm going to get a new one soon, but I've made many videos with MEP on it with no problem, so I don't think that's the issue.
