Collages - Limited to 30 objects?

Anyone created a collage with more than 30 objects?

I have one with 31 and have only just noticed an odd quirk. The 31st target object does not get used. Instead, it's replaced by the 31st object in the original collage template.

(For anyone curious why I'd use such an odd number: I happened to need that many to fill my mask area. A redesign won't be difficult.)

If you look at any collage ini file you will find it has 30 placeholders only, whether adding more can be done needs to be tested.

Have you tried designing a new collage to be 'loopable' ie the end of one set and beginning of the next are such that they merge seamlessly - this is not always possible for certain types of collage - however it would make using the collage multiple times on more images, such that it still looks like one continuous collage, easy.

I can finally see the light at the end of the 'renovation' tunnel to begin experimenting more.

Thanks - never spotted that!

I'll try extending the INI. (Although I've already revised my 31-er to 30.)

No, sounds a fun idea. But I'm still three projects behind so...

I confirm that extending the INI works fine. I went to 36 entries and successfully extended what was now a 30 object collage to a 33-er.

First my apologies, I forgot to reply to you.

Ursula thought it was very funny and yes she is fine - no accidents with the wallpaper.

. . . .But I'm still three projects behind so... . . .

I am now down to one project behind the Australia project is in progress - started the week 2 of 8 weeks activities.

Then to put it all together on disc.
