Commercial Intros can we achieve this?

Hi,

I want to be able to use some very commercial intros, graphics etc like they have here https://videohive.net/item/clean-lower-thirds-for-final-cut-pro-x/20148190?s_rank=26

Can we do anything like this in Magix?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes. Most of those in the video are fairly simple to make using some lines and masks.

Did you look at the Captions under Titles? There are already many nice ones, assuming that you downloaded and installed the additional content.

Hi,

Thanks for reply.

Is there a link to a YouTube clip in how to use masks that you might know of?

I was also looking for the lazy option of just buying a good one I've seen.

Will the ones such as in the link i shared work or are they specific to Adobe or Final Cut do you know?

Hi,

if the price is $14 for 12 effects this is better to buy it and use with Vegas or Adobe.if you ewant to create probably you can but you need to invest time to learn and try.

YR

@themodeller

Did you try out the Captions that come with MEPP?

For using masks to uncover a line or object, see this link and download (if still available) the example done by John EB. This will give you insight as to how to use masks. As for tutorials, the following should help:

https://www.magix.info/us/tutorials/multiple-moving-masks--999220/

https://www.magix.info/us/tutorials/how-to-use-effect-masks-in-movie-edit-pro--858837/

You also have to learn about keyframing.

In the your referenced video, is there any particular lower third that you like? I may try to find some time to reproduce it. I could always use a couple of new models, and modify them to my liking.

There is also a plug-in, proDAD Heroglyph, that has lower thirds that can be modified.
