Hi,hope you can resolve my problem,

i am using  movie magix edit plus premium mx (2012),i build myself a new computer with a ssd drive

it is the OS drive (c),you know with ssd you have to be careful not to write et erase a lot,so i move my

windows 7 temps to the d drive ,and my virtual memory,i was doing some test yesterday, and when i want to make a iso bluray or avchd ISO disk, the magix sofware crash, and also when i try to put the ISO files on d drive,it says that drive is full, and it is impossible it is a almost empty 3 tb.

1-why does-it crash ?

2- is it beacause virtual memory is on d that the system tells me that there is no room on d drive?

3-any other files that i have to move from programdata or program x86 on ssd c drives to d drive

and yes my folders in directory(settings) the first 4 are on d drives.

Hi

Can you clarify the following please:

. . . . windows 7 temps to the d drive ,and my virtual memory . . .

Are you saying  you have moved the Windows temp folder to the D drive and created a virtual disk drive on the D drive?

A more detailed description of the computer configuration and specification will also help.

there is a procedure that is explain on the internet  for moving the "temp"and "tmp" files on windows 7,

to move them on another disk (my d disk) instead of the c (my ssd),so i did that,

virtual memory also the same thing ,virtual memory usually is on c drive(my ssd),i put it on d drive disk,

on ssd we need to keep to a minimum writing and erasing,to exyend the life of ssd.

virtual memory some can call it also page file.

no didn't create  virtual drive.

Hi

Thanks for the clarification.

You did not answer the second part of my question -

A more detailed description of the computer configuration and specification will also help.

i do not see the pertinence of knowing my setup, but

processor amd a8-6600k  3.9 ghz

motherboard asus f2a85 v-pro

graphic card sapphire radeon hd6670 1 gb ddr5 memory

8 gb ram kingston 1333 mhz

ssd samsung evo 120g c drive with os windows 7  64 bit

3 tb western digital green d drive,1 tb western digital green e drive

550 watt power supply

1 dvd writer,1 bluray writer,1 internal sd card reader

windows temp and tmp files move to d drive

and virtual memory move to d drive

build for speed to make movie if movie magix edit pro premium mx 2012 will let me do it.

can not burn bluray or avchd disc ,magix crash's,can not save file on d ,system says disk is full.

I think I know what I am going to test tonight,Magix let me save to E drives,so I am going to change

all my destination folders to E drive instead of D drive, and i am 75 % sure it is going to work (I hope!).

the only possible reason why it doesn't work on C drives would be because it is a 3 tb disk and higher

than 2 tb the disk is gpt instead of mbr, that possible reason is far fetch, but that's is the only thing I can think of.

I change disk from c to d and from d to c,and now everything works, bizarre.

I think the magix company should next year in the 2015 movie magix put a place in the setup,

a place where you can put a check if you have a ssd as your os drive, and the files would load

differently, temps and directory ,so we do not have to do it manually.
