@Lindy

Hi,

It's an intermittent problem, annoying. Magix is aware of it.

Keep trying. It should open after a few tries, or try later, several times.

Interesting that this post was back in May. I've been having the same problem and now it's mid-October. Has there been a resolution yet?

@STS

It's now 1/3/2023, and it appears that we're still going to receive the dreaded 504 Error.

STS wrote on 1/3/2023, 9:45 AM

James-Taylor1582, yes despite opening a ticket with Magix. I did discover, however that it was my antivirus software (Panda) that was "causing" the error. I cringe every time I do it, but I disable both the firewall and the antivirus software temporarily while I access the catalogue, and immediately re-enable after downloading what I need.

Hi

Panda allows you to add exceptions for programs to access the Internet, it should have done this automatically for XDP, and if required not be 'realtime' scanned.

See their help pages?

Yes, johnebaker I tried that. It had not automatically been done, but even when I added XDP manually, it still fails.
