Continuous crashing on using Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium recently

Royston-Sang wrote on 3/16/2022, 9:06 AM

Importing video clips is OK. If several 4K clips are imported at once and proxy files created; when these are immediately exported as HD mpeg4 files that is OK. If any editing of clips or adding of Titles is done a crash has occurred several times over the last few days. This has been repeated with "clean" re-installations obtained from the Magix website. Hardware is HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop, NVIDIA, 16GB RAM.

@Royston-Sang

Hi Roy and welcome to the user to user forums.

I'm afraid we are going to need more specific information on your desktop. We need the processor type and generation so full identification please such as i7-9700K and the nvidia card GTX, RTX? and model number. Windows version and build to start with. How much free space is on your C: hard drive? Which version (year \ build) of Movie Edit Pro are you using? RE-installing the program can make matters worse rather than making them better. When you restart the program can you copy the crash report and post it here?

Ray.
