I have created a 16:9 format DVD and then discovered on playback after a number of months, that it shoul have been a 4:3 format. Unfortunatley I do not have the original cam recorder tape to start from sctrath. How can I convert, after importing the vob file, to now create a 4:3 DVD?
A 16:9 should have been 4:3. Does this mean, that the film is stretched sideways to fill the screen? Without having any black border?
Try this: Drag the VOB to timeline, go to Object properties (Ctrl+E) and set Aspect Ratio to 4:3. Perhaps you can change to 4:3 under Burn too. Experiment with a short cut from the film, and burn on a DVD-RW, if you have.
